Aerial Yoga Classes to Begin in Dehradun on October 5 Under Pancha Koshas-Navitalya Studio Collaboration

Pancha Koshas and Navitalya Studio will launch aerial yoga and aerial arts classes in Dehradun starting October 5, 2026, with registration opening September 25 at Navitalya Studio's facility.

DEHRADUN, Uttarakhand — September 22, 2026 — Aerial yoga and aerial arts classes will commence in Dehradun on October 5, 2026, under a collaboration between Pancha Koshas, a wellness and fitness organisation, and Navitalya Studio, the two entities announced today. The programme will be hosted at Navitalya Studio's facility in the city and marks the expansion of Pancha Koshas' aerial instruction to a second location, a move the company said responds to growing demand for alternative fitness formats in the region.

Under the arrangement, Pancha Koshas will provide certified instructors and curriculum for aerial yoga and aerial arts, while Navitalya Studio will supply the physical infrastructure, including rigging and safety equipment. Classes will be offered in group sessions and may include introductory workshops for beginners. According to the companies, the initiative is intended to serve residents of Dehradun and surrounding areas who currently travel to other cities for similar training.

Aerial yoga and aerial arts have recorded increased participation in India over the past five years, according to industry reports. The disciplines combine elements of traditional yoga, dance, and acrobatics performed on suspended silks or hammocks. The global aerial yoga market was valued at approximately USD 1.2 billion in 2024 and has been projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of around 7 percent through 2030, driven by rising health awareness and the expansion of boutique fitness studios. In Uttarakhand, demand for such programmes has been concentrated in Dehradun and Haridwar, where a limited number of facilities currently offer certified instruction.

Classes will be held at Navitalya Studio, located in Dehradun. The schedule includes morning and evening sessions on weekdays, with additional weekend workshops. Registration is set to open on September 25, 2026, through both Pancha Koshas and Navitalya Studio. Pricing details have not been disclosed at this time. Participants will be required to complete a health declaration before attending their first session, in line with standard safety practices for aerial activities.

Pancha Koshas stated that the collaboration forms part of a broader plan to establish additional locations in northern India. The company currently operates aerial programmes in two other cities, though specific locations were not disclosed. Navitalya Studio, which opened in 2021, has offered dance and fitness classes in Dehradun and will now add aerial disciplines to its roster.

"This collaboration with Navitalya Studio allows Pancha Koshas to bring its aerial yoga and aerial arts curriculum to Dehradun, a market where we have observed consistent interest from practitioners," said a spokesperson for Pancha Koshas. "We expect the first sessions to begin in early October and will evaluate demand for additional classes in the coming months."
