BRISBANE, QLD - Local waste management company Rapid Bins has grown its delivery network to cover more than 25 suburbs across Brisbane, from Ashgrove and Chermside in the north to Wishart and Sunnybank Hills in the south. The company hires out skip bins to homeowners, renovators, landscapers and builders, and says the growth has been driven largely by word of mouth from repeat customers.

Rapid Bins offers multiple sizes - 2m³, 3m³ and 4m³ minis suited to household jobs, and a 6m³ option for larger renovation or construction waste. Customers book through the company's website by entering their postcode, choosing a waste type, and picking a delivery window. Most bookings are confirmed for same-day or next-day delivery, though the company recommends booking at least 24 hours ahead during busier periods, particularly on weekends.

"A lot of our customers come to us after a rough experience somewhere else - maybe a delivery that showed up hours late, or a price that suddenly climbed once the truck was already on site," said Ved Prakash Beniwal, Operations Manager at Rapid Bins. "That's why we lock in our rates from the start and explain clearly what's allowed inside the bin, so nobody's left arguing at collection time."

The company accepts general household rubbish, green waste, and mixed construction or renovation debris, including timber, bricks, tiles and old furniture. Asbestos, liquid waste, food scraps and other hazardous materials aren't permitted, in line with Queensland waste regulations. Bins placed on a customer's own property don't require council approval, but Beniwal noted that anyone placing a bin on a footpath or road needs to check with their local council first.

Most hires run for seven days as standard, and Rapid Bins says it can extend that window if a job runs long, provided customers get in touch before the bin is due for collection. The company also runs recurring monthly pickups for tradespeople and businesses that generate waste on an ongoing basis.

Rapid Bins is currently taking bookings across its Brisbane service area, with quotes available online by suburb.
