California Hearing Center Introduces Signia MaX AI Hearing Aids to Silicon Valley
New Signia MaX hearing technology focuses on clearer conversations in meetings, restaurants and other challenging listening environments

California Hearing Center is now offering the new Signia MaX hearing aid platform to patients throughout Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Peninsula.
Signia MaX, short for Multi-adaptive Xperience, is designed to address one of the biggest challenges for people with hearing loss: understanding conversations when multiple people are speaking or background noise is present.
The new platform uses multiple artificial intelligence systems to analyze speech, environmental sounds, background noise and the wearer's own voice simultaneously.
For patients living and working in Silicon Valley, these listening challenges can happen every day — during meetings, presentations, restaurants, family gatherings and other group conversations.
“Many patients tell us they hear well one-on-one but have difficulty once several people start talking,” said the California Hearing Center clinical team. “Signia MaX gives us another advanced option for helping patients manage these complex listening situations.”
AI Technology for Group Conversations
A key feature of Signia MaX is RealTime Conversation Enhancement AI, which is designed to identify changing speakers and support speech understanding during group conversations.
The platform also includes technology designed to:
Analyze changing background noise
Enhance speech from multiple speakers
Provide a more natural perception of the wearer's own voice
Automatically adapt as the listening environment changes
Support Bluetooth and Bluetooth LE Audio connectivity
Support emerging Auracast broadcast audio technology
The rechargeable Pure Charge&Go MaX is among the first hearing aids available on the new platform.
Professional Hearing Aid Fitting Matters
California Hearing Center emphasizes that advanced hearing aid technology works best when it is selected and programmed for the individual patient.
The appropriate hearing aid depends on a person's hearing loss, lifestyle, listening environments, comfort, connectivity needs and personal preferences.
California Hearing Center uses real-ear measurement to verify hearing aid fittings and measure how amplification is actually reaching the patient's ear.
Patients can also compare Signia MaX with hearing aids from other leading manufacturers to determine which technology best fits their individual needs.
