Fajador Media Reports 3 Million Monthly Views, Six-Show Podcast Network

LOS ANGELES — November 4, 2026 — Fajador Media, the bilingual combat sports news platform founded in 2023 by industry executive Mike Afromowitz, said its flagship site Fajador.com now draws more than three million views a month, with regular readers in the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina and Ecuador.

The company, which began as Fajador.co in 2023 and moved to Fajador.com the following year, covers mixed martial arts, boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, jiu-jitsu, judo, wrestling, kempo, lucha libre and sumo. It distributes content through Instagram, Facebook and YouTube under the handle @FajadorMedia.

Afromowitz previously ran a Muay Thai magazine in San Jose, California, and headed communications for Strikeforce and Invicta FC. He later worked with UFC co-creator Campbell McLaren on the launch of Combate Global. Fajador Media said its editorial focus is on connecting the United States, Latin America and Spain.

Raul Martinez, a former regional field manager in CAA's Experiential division, joined the company as producer and assistant editor. At CAA he worked on brand launches for Pepsi, AT&T, Skullcandy, Flip Cam and Diamond Supply Co., and on events tied to the Super Bowl and the Billboard Latin Music Awards. Earlier, he helped Univision Radio launch La Kalle Network, a syndicated Spanglish radio show, in 2005. Martinez is a former Latin Grammy voting member and has produced more than 20 bilingual hip-hop albums.

"I was honored to join Fajador Media, which is disrupting the combat sports industry by finally giving us Latinos a platform to connect our brother and sister athletes from all around the world to the US," Martinez said. "It's working because we are Latino, talking to Latinos, as Latinos!"

Fajador Media said it allows community members to post news about gym openings, fundraisers, family events and local fight cards at no cost, a departure from outlets in parts of Latin America that charge athletes for local coverage. The site also publishes fighter profiles, social links, promoter information and streaming details for upcoming bouts.

The company operates a six-show podcast network hosted by contributors across the Americas. En Esta Esquina, hosted by former Univision radio personality Carlos Baltazar, covers the California and Las Vegas fight scenes. Danger Podcast is led from Miami by Julio Molina, a fashion artist and former president of the Ecuadorian Combat Sports Commission. Cara A Cara is hosted from San Diego by broadcaster Felipe Leon. Fajador Con Natalia is anchored in Mexico by attorney and former UFC Fox commentator Natalia Rivera, who recently traveled to Las Vegas to cover UFC 329. Jhonba Roa hosts Punto De Quiebre from Bogota, alongside the network's news feed, Noticias Fajador. A sixth show, Entre El Nocaut y La Finalizacion, is scheduled to launch from Santiago, hosted by Chilean combat sports judge and writer ATSteveDuncan.

Fajador Media said the network has produced more than 125 episodes. Guests have included UFC fighters Waldo Cortes-Acosta, Ailin Perez, Gianni Vazquez and Javier Reyes; boxing champions Kenia Enriquez, Subriel Matias, Isaac Lucero, Yokasta Valle and Yadira Bustillos; WWE NXT's Lola Vice; Karate Combat champion Arturo Vergara; pro sumo athlete Gilberto De La Torre; and bare-knuckle fighters Julian Fernandez and Gaston Reyno.

The Fajador logo appears on fighter gear and inside La Jaula, the Combate Global cage that broadcasts from Estrella TV's studios in Burbank, California. The company also produces a video series, No Se Raja, profiling workers who compete as professional fighters. Fajador Media said it plans to add shows in Chile, Argentina, Spain and Mexico in 2027.
