Gaming Creator Hanan Shekh Osman Pauses Video Output to Focus on Medical Studies

BAD NEUENAHR-AHRWEILER, Germany — October 8, 2026 — Hanan Shekh Osman, a gaming content creator known online as Mr Hanan, has stopped posting regular gaming videos to focus on medical studies, according to a statement released Tuesday.

Osman's verified YouTube channel, Mr Hanan (@zku), has more than 1.16 million subscribers. He built the audience through Arabic-language gaming content centered on Free Fire. In 2019, he traveled with a Free Fire team to Brazil and Indonesia to attend official Free Fire esports world tournaments.

After years of regular content creation, Osman said he decided to prioritize his education and a future career in medicine. He is no longer regularly posting gaming content on his main channels.

"Gaming was an important part of my life, but I decided that my education and future in medicine should come first," Osman said. "I want to keep the accounts I built connected to my real identity while I focus on my studies."

Osman said he plans to use his Instagram and TikTok accounts for educational medical content in the future. He said keeping those accounts clearly connected to his identity is one reason he is working to maintain his official online presence while he is away from regular content creation.

His current social media accounts include Instagram at @mrhanan_official, with about 170,000 followers, and TikTok at @hananx963, with more than 21,500 followers. His official YouTube channel is available at https://www.youtube.com/@zku.

Osman did not specify which medical school he will attend or when his studies will begin. He also did not provide a timeline for when he might resume gaming content or launch medical content on his other platforms.

The shift comes as some long-running gaming creators have moved away from daily uploads to pursue education or other careers. Osman's main YouTube channel remains online, and his other accounts remain active, according to the statement.
