GPT Energy Inc. announced the start of residential solar and battery storage operations in Greater Houston and Southeast Texas, offering installation, energy management, and backup power services within a 100-mile radius.
HOUSTON, Texas — October 13, 2026 — GPT Energy Inc. said Tuesday it has begun offering residential solar installation, battery storage integration, and home energy management services in the Greater Houston area and nearby Southeast Texas communities within a 100-mile radius.
The company said the residential services now available include solar system design and consultation, full-service solar installation, renewable energy consulting, solar maintenance and reroof support, and residential electric vehicle charger installation. Its energy storage services include systems designed to store electricity for use during grid interruptions or periods of household demand.
Battery energy storage systems store electricity generated by solar panels or drawn from the utility grid. Depending on equipment specifications and system configuration, stored energy can support essential appliances or broader household electrical loads during an outage. Some configurations can switch automatically to backup power when grid interruptions occur, according to the company.
Equipment options offered by GPT Energy Inc. include Tesla Powerwall 3, FranklinWH aPower 2, Enphase Energy Storage, EG4 FlexBoss and GridBoss, EcoFlow Ocean Pro, SigenStor, and Sol-Ark hybrid inverters. Solar panel options include REC Alpha Pure RX, Silfab Solar, and Canadian Solar products. Other available equipment includes energy management systems, gateways, electrical panels, and residential EV chargers.
The company said system planning considers household electricity consumption, inverter output, battery capacity, air conditioning demand, generator compatibility, and the required level of backup coverage. These factors determine whether a system is configured to support selected essential circuits or a broader range of household electrical loads.
GPT Energy Inc. also provides customized solar and battery bundles that combine panels, batteries, inverters, gateways, and energy management controls according to property requirements. Portable solar generators are available for emergency use and travel, and financing options are available for installations, the company said.
Additional project services include permitting, code-compliant installation, system commissioning, app-based monitoring, and troubleshooting. GPT Energy Inc. said it provides a 10-year workmanship warranty for its installation work.
The company did not disclose pricing, installation volume, or the number of customers served. It said the services are available immediately in the Houston area and surrounding Southeast Texas communities within its 100-mile service radius.
