Memorigin introduces Verdant Resonance with a guzheng-inspired dial and luminous carbon fibre
Memorigin's Verdant Resonance Tourbillon Watch combines a miniature guzheng seconds display, incense-inspired luminous detailing and a manually wound flying tourbillon in a square carbon-fibre case.

HONG KONG, October 25, 2026 — Memorigin has introduced the Verdant Resonance Tourbillon Watch, model MO 1388, combining a guzheng-inspired seconds display with a luminous carbon-fibre case. The Hong Kong watchmaker's product announcement, published in September 2026, describes a dial based on the traditional pairing of a Chinese string instrument and an incense burner.
The design places a three-dimensional interpretation of the guzheng at nine o'clock. Fine steel wires represent the instrument's strings, while the seconds indicator is shaped like a musician's hand. Its continuous movement across the miniature instrument translates the playing gesture into a timekeeping display.
An incense-burner motif occupies the lower-right section of the dial. Green luminous lines above it represent rising smoke. Together, the instrument and burner refer to a setting associated with Chinese scholars and literati, providing the cultural subject of the watch's dial arrangement.
The hours and minutes are shown on a separate display at twelve o'clock. A flying tourbillon is positioned at six o'clock and completes one rotation every sixty seconds. This layout separates the main time display, seconds indication and tourbillon within the square case.
The manually wound movement contains 162 components and 37 jewels. It operates at 28,800 oscillations per hour and provides a 48-hour power reserve. The skeletonised construction and transparent caseback expose the movement, with components concentrated towards the upper part of the case.
The case is made from luminous carbon fibre and measures approximately 39 by 39 mm, with a stated thickness of 9.35 mm in the published specification table. Sapphire crystal is fitted to both sides, and the watch has a stated water-resistance rating of 3 ATM. The model is supplied with a rubber strap.
Luminous material incorporated into the carbon fibre gives the case a visible pattern in darkness. The green dial, luminous detailing and green rubber strap continue the same colour scheme across the watch. In the product announcement, Memorigin relates this palette to bamboo and jade associated with Chinese artistic traditions.
Verdant Resonance forms part of Memorigin's cultural watch collection. The product introduction documents its dial construction, case material and movement specifications as an interpretation of Chinese cultural imagery within a mechanical wristwatch. Product information and current availability are listed on the official store.
