Supreme Pharmatech to Build 100-Million-Dose Veterinary Vaccine Facility and Antigen Bank in Azerbaijan

Supreme Pharmatech to build an advanced veterinary vaccine facility and antigen bank in Azerbaijan. Using proprietary tech, it will produce up to 100M safe, live-virus-free doses annually for livestock and pets, securing regional supply lines.

Supreme Pharmatech veterinary vaccine project in Azerbaijan

Thailand-based Supreme Pharmatech Co., Ltd. has announced plans to construct a veterinary vaccine manufacturing facility and an Emergency Antigen Bank in Azerbaijan. The project will be implemented by the company's regional branch, Supreme Pharmatech Manufacturing (Azerbaijan). According to the company, the facility is designed to produce up to 100 million vaccine doses annually for livestock, poultry, and companion animals across the South Caucasus and Caspian regions. The announcement did not specify a construction timeline or the value of the investment.

The company said a dedicated capital budget has been allocated for internal engineering, automated multi-cassette processing systems, and validated bio-hazard containment systems. Specific budget figures were not disclosed.

The project would introduce Supreme Pharmatech's Molecular Bio-Scaffolding (MBS) technology to the region. According to the company, the platform is intended for the development of viral sub-unit vaccines using non-infectious structural protein shells that mirror target pathogens. Supreme Pharmatech states that because the process does not use live viral genomes, it avoids the biosecurity risks associated with conventional live-virus production. Third-party verification is pending, as the underlying specifications for the proprietary platform have not been publicly disclosed.

The facility is planned to serve a dual-purpose model focused on national biosecurity and regional trade. A portion of annual production capacity would be allocated to the domestic Azerbaijani market to establish a strategic national reserve. According to the company, this emergency antigen bank would allow local authorities to respond to transboundary animal disease outbreaks within days rather than months, reducing dependence on international supply chains. The remaining capacity is intended for export to regional markets.

The automated facility is described as a secure, flexible processing environment capable of managing successive production campaigns. These would include formulations for commercial livestock such as dairy cattle and sheep, defenses for industrial poultry operations including broiler chickens and breeding stocks, and health treatments for companion animals such as dogs and cats.

The complex is also planned to include an ultra-low temperature cryobank to preserve master seed lots and bulk emergency antigen reserves, with the aim of ensuring product stability and rapid deployment during health emergencies.

Supreme Pharmatech said it intends to offer veterinary biologicals at competitive prices and that the project's presence in Azerbaijan would support market transparency and national biological preparedness. The company did not provide details on pricing, partnerships, or regulatory approvals.
