GUAYAQUIL, Ecuador — November 7, 2026 — The Ultimate Combat Challenge (UCC), a Panama-based mixed martial arts promotion, will return to Ecuador on November 14 for a fight card featuring professional and amateur bouts across MMA, kickboxing, Muay Thai, and boxing. The announcement was made on Monday by local promoter Francisco “Pancho” Bajana, head coach at 8 Armas Team.

The event will include both men’s and women’s matchups, according to the promotion. Venue details have not been disclosed and are expected to be announced in the coming days. Fighters from Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, and Venezuela have already confirmed their participation, with matchmakers continuing to accept applications from athletes, coaches, and managers.

Partnership with Liga De Fuego

To organize the event, UCC has partnered with Liga De Fuego, an Ecuadorian combat sports outlet. The collaboration is intended to provide a platform for local amateur and professional fighters to compete in front of a home audience and to create pathways for future UCC events across Latin America.

“This is an opportunity for athletes, managers, and coaches to reach out to provide that opportunity for skilled athletes to take that next step,” Bajana said in a statement.

UCC states that athletes on its roster receive professionally produced social media commercials, custom fight posters, and interview placements with local and international media outlets.
